Nike Zoom Toki

Nike Zoom Toki
Since it was first released last year we have seen the Nike Zoom Toki in a pretty wide array of different colors, some better than others, but all of them of course keeping the simple design that made us all like the sneaker in the first place. Some of our favorites since the initial release would include the gray, blue and white pair as well as the charcoal and lemon pair. Now however, we have three new colorways of the shoe for you to enjoy.
The first pair will come with a tonal red upper and feature cool gray and red accents, while the second pair will have a black upper and feature varsity royal and white accents. Finally, the third colorway in this series will have a varsity royal upper and will be accented by vibrant yellow and white. All three of these shoes will release in Spring 2010.

Nike Zoom Uptempo V Premium – Black/Black/Copper

Nike Zoom Uptempo V Premium BlackBlackCopper

Photos have recently surfaced of the Nike Zoom Uptempo V in a Premum make-up. The Uptempo V was originally the Air Zoom Flight V when it released in 1997 as a signature shoe for Jason Kidd. Now, due to Kidd’s move to Peak Footwear, the shoe has been renamed and stripped of its “Kidd” branding. Fortunately the silhouette remains and has made a few retro appearances in the past year.
This latest iteration utilizes premium black leather, a white lateral sidewall, and copper accenting. As always, the “bug eye” is the focal point of the shoe and the tinge of copper does not dissapoint. Flip the post for a look at the medial side and the outsole.

Nike Zoom Kobe V BlackForest GreenVarsity Maize
Nike has showed us the Nike Zoom Kobe V in several different colorways but the latest have acquired one of the most distinguished color setups. We have seen the LA Lakers-inspired colorway which drew us to a positive conclusion. This time, it wasn’t influenced by any other entity but it is Nike’s original taste that decided to come up with this tint.
Black as a common hue becomes the predominant that covers the toe, side panel, collar, tongue, inner liner, and midsole. The heel panel was draped with Varsity Maize and same color was used on the tongue logo, Swoosh border, and outsole. And lastly, Forest Green took an introductory spot on the Swoosh, side of toe, and lace panel.
Flywire design is present as well as Kobe’s signature on the heel. It also used a Zoom sole for additional cushioning and Black/Varsity Maize shoe laces.
Big Kobe V fans would want to avail for this exclusive release which will take place at Montalban Theatre on March 6, 2010 from 12:00PM to 6:00PM. Be there!

Nike Zoom Kobe V – Rice H.S. + Lower Merion H.S.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Rice HS Lower Merion HS
Nike has been designing player exclusive sneakers as addition to the Zoom Kobe lineup. Lately, the brand was engaged in high school institutes, letting each pair be customized according to the school’s color preferences. In the past previews, Nike showed the Fairfax High School version and today, two more colorways are up.
A metallic Silver-based Nike Zoom Kobe V that features deep Red accent was constructed for the Lower Merion High School. It owns a mesh tongue and dotted design on the laces. It displays an Ace playing card character with the label “ACE” inside. Another Kobe V was dedicated for the Rice High School in a Yellow upper with Green and White hints. “RICE” label appears on the heel.
In both player exclusives, the popular Flywire design and Kobe Bryant signature were retained in their respective spots. White Zoom sole was also applied to both colorways.
These new Nike Zoom Kobe V PEs will be dropping at the House of Hoops.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Draft Day

Nike Zoom Kobe V Draft Day
No one can predict the future and there is no point in dwelling over the past. That being said, we can’t help but think that Bob Bass, the previous Charlotte Hornets GM isn’t kicking himself in the head once or twice a day for trading away Kobe Bryant. What’s done is done though and we all need to move on. We can still remember the past though, whether the memories be good or bad, and we can celebrate those memories with new kicks.
This new Nike Zoom Kobe V Draft Day is either remembering or slightly mocking the team that once traded away Kobe, who would later (and not much later) go on to be one of the greatest players to play in the NBA. These shoes will feature a traditional Charlotte Hornets colorway that looks really nice when it is applied to this silhouette. Stay tuned for a release date.

Nike Zoom Kobe V GS Pinkfire

Nike Zoom Kobe V GS Pinkfire
This year we’ve gotten many releases of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII and the Nike Zoom Kobe V, and here we have the first GS colorway of the year in the Nike Zoom Kobe V GS Pinkfire. Now I know many of you actually like some of the past GS releases and wished they had a full release, but I’m not sure you want this edition.
The first GS edition will come in the suiting colorway of Pinkfire, using a pink base, seen in upper and in the inner lining. The entire pink shoe gets white accents for contrast in the side panels, toe box, laces, and in several logos throughout the shoe. Finishing off the shoe are a white and pink mid sole, and a pink sole. Available now through the NikeStore.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Make Sense

Nike Zoom Kobe V Make Sense
We think that Nike Zoom Kobe V Make Sense is the perfect name for this shoe because it just makes so much sense. It makes sense on many different levels, but mostly it due to the Los Angeles Lakers colorway that is featured on the shoe. It comes in a low version which is still a bit controversial for most die hard basketball players who couldn’t imagine playing in anything but a high, but these are great for casual wear as well.
These ones will feature a predominantly white upper with a yellow swoosh and features flywire stitching where the usual flywire panel would be. It should be noted that the yellow swoosh is made up of patent leather which adds a nice bit of style to the sneaker and really makes it pop and it matches the inner lining as well as the tongue symbol. Keep your eyes peeled for these.

Nike Zoom Kobe V 2010 Collection

Nike Zoom Kobe V 2010 Collection
Every year, Nike highlights a collection of sneakers that somehow catches attention and at the same time satisfies the common sneakerheads cravings. For 2010, Nike presents a line up of Zoom Kobe V in six variations. First off is the LA Lakers-inspired White/Purple followed by the Dark Knights, White/Blue Duke University PE, White/Red/Black Chicago color-up, updated Black/Varsity Maize, and the colorful Chaos ZKV. Looking at these kicks, you can easily identify which colorway comes dominant and you might say it’s either Black or White. And in a way, it is also easier to recognize the most accepted one, perhaps the one with simpler colors in it. Yet, the integration of more than two colors can already make a sneaker a head-turner. But nonetheless, all these featured Kobe Vs are now ready for their next journey just like Kobe Bryant who is now ready to face another challenge in his career for this year. Stay tuned for more details and further information about the Nike Zoom Kobe V 2010 Collection.
