When it comes to Kanye West and the sneaker world, there is a whole lot of potential for success. When Kanye first announced that he would be releasing a pair of sneakers with Nike, there was a lot of excitement initially among the sneaker community, although some people worried that the sneakers would be too strange looking for their tastes. When he finally did release them most people were actually very pleased with the sneakers themselves as they were different from most Nike shoes although not too far out there. This has allowed him to start working on his second pair that we are going to take a look at today. This is the new Nike Air Yeezy 2 in Black and Pink.

It has beige patent leather midfoot strap and mild pink interior lining. The Swoosh on the heel area is a white leather patched from the inside, and the mudguard comes in black suede that bears the elephant print embossed design. White midsole on a yellowish outsole make the bottom clear and simple.
Like we mentioned on the first Nike Air Yeezy article, Kanye West created this with passion and his own unique style, so seeing the Y-shaped lace holder on the middle of the tongue shouldnâ€™t bother you why.

In Retrospect: Nike Air Yeezy Zen Grey/Light Charcoal

Around this time last year , the Zen Grey/Light Charcoal colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy released nationwide (specifically, it dropped on April 4th, 2009). It ultimately became one of, if not the best sneaker release of 2009.
Were you able to get your hands on the Nike Air Yeezy Zen Grey/Light Charcoal and was it worth the $215? If you did not get a chance to purchase it or you passed up on the opportunity, are you wishing you would have snagged them? Spotted: Amber Rose In Nike Air Yeezys

Kanye West’s favorite arm candy, Amber Rose, was spotted last weekend in NYC sans le boyfriend but with actual clothes on. So nice to see her finally covered up! It’s even nicer that Amber Rose shows Kanye love in and out their love nest, by rocking the Kanye-designed Nike Air Yeezys in the Zen Gray / Charcoal colorway.

To be honest, it’s kinda been a while since the last time any public figure was seen rockin’ them Yeezys. Are Kanye and Amber the only ones stepping out in Nike Air Yeezys these days?
The Nike Air Yeezys shoes were launched in April 2009, with the Zen Gray / Charcoal colorway as the first variant of the kicks released, followed by the Black/Black in May and the last one, Net/Net colorway released in June.
Since then, many Hip Hop A-Listers including Kanye West himself, Jay-Z, Common and rising star, Soulja Boy, have been spotted rocking Nike Air Yeezys at major events.

Kanye West x Karmaloop Nike Air Yeezy Auction

To help launch Karmaswap, Karmaloop.com’s new online auction site, they have paired with Kanye West and his namesake foundation to put together Kanye’s Closet. Karmaswap is available for both private resellers and small boutqie brands looking to get their product out. The Nike Air Yeezy obviously needs no introduction. And while it will undoubtedly fetch the largest bid, there are plenty of other items up for a good cause, including memorabilia, t-shirts and so on, all autographed by Mr. West himself. The auction culminates with the posting of the Yeezys on December 1tth and will run until the 18th.
