When you hear the words Carbon Fiber Basketball shoes, the first shoe that probably comes to mind is the Nike Air Flightposite that can sell for over $1,000 on the open market. There is another newcomer however to the carbon fiber sneaker world and it is coming in hard and coming in strong. This is the new Nike Hypermax 2010 Carbon Fiber Los Angeles Lakers edition.
This shoe features full carbon fiber and flywire on the upper with a basketball-specific 360 Air Unit. Some of you might think that it looks a little familiar, because there was a previous version that was previewed with a carbon fiber upper although it featured a different colorway. The Lakers colorway seems to be a very popular colorway for Nike these days, so it only makes sense that they are planning this one first. Stay tuned for more info on these sneakers, don’t sleep!
