Nike Zoom Uptempo V Premium – Black/Black/Copper

Nike Zoom Uptempo V Premium BlackBlackCopper

Photos have recently surfaced of the Nike Zoom Uptempo V in a Premum make-up. The Uptempo V was originally the Air Zoom Flight V when it released in 1997 as a signature shoe for Jason Kidd. Now, due to Kidd’s move to Peak Footwear, the shoe has been renamed and stripped of its “Kidd” branding. Fortunately the silhouette remains and has made a few retro appearances in the past year.
This latest iteration utilizes premium black leather, a white lateral sidewall, and copper accenting. As always, the “bug eye” is the focal point of the shoe and the tinge of copper does not dissapoint. Flip the post for a look at the medial side and the outsole.

Jordan Icons UNC PE

Jordan Icons UNC PE

Last week, University of North Carolina and two other Jordan Brand sponsored universities wore their “Silver Anniversary” Jordan jerseys along with their “Silver Anniversary” Air Jordan 2010 PEs to honor Air Jordan franchise’s 25th year anniversary. Today, we showcase another set of PEs from the UNC vault in the form of the Jordan Icons.
The Jordan Icons is currently the ‘in’ sneaker on the NBA courts as we have spotted players such as Mike Bibby, Ray Allen, Joe Johnson and DJ Augustin wearing them. UNC’s Icons PE obviously owns the timeless white/university blue color scheme. Its leather upper is primarily white and sits atop a university blue midsole. UNC’s logo is seen on the quarter panel and a silver Jumpman rests on the tongue. Why would you want to sign a letter of intent to play anywhere else? Click here to view additional photos.

Nike Air Max 90 Current Moire Medium GreyClub PurpleSunbeam

Way back in August this Air Max 90 Current Moire surfaced as a sample on eBay. The reaction was very positive for the hybrid Air Max, which mixes a one-piece upper with a Free forefoot and classic AM90 heel. The final production version has popped up online, and should be available in stateside stores in the near future.
Medium grey makes up the upper, while light grey dots are the most prominent accent feature. Sunbeam yellow also appears in large amounts, including the midfoot areas where there would normally be plastic eyelet supports. Club Purple surrounds the Air Max window and also works its way in on the Swoosh predominantly displayed across the mid-panel.

Nike Aina Chukka Stone/White

Nike Aina Chukka StoneWhite
While it might not be to most popular form of the Chukka to ever be released, the Nike Aina Chukka definitely still has it’s place. This one definitely takes a lot of influence from Japanese fashion in their urban environment as urban Japanese style lends itself towards leather or suede uppered minimalistic and casual shoes. The Aina Chukka definitely fits into that standard and fits in there very well.
This sneaker is a definitely a work of Nike art and features an almost all stone gray upper but what makes the upper even more interesting is the woven pattern that they chose to use on a majority of it. Nike logos can be found on the tongue and also on the heel tab of the shoe. The boat shoe element featured in the shoe will help it maybe appeal to a bit of a broader audience, but these are a love it or hate it shoe.

Nike Air Max BW Gen II Black/Persian Violet

Nike Air Max BW Gen II BlackPersian Violet
The Persian violet colorway is not a colorway that everyone is able to appreciate right off the bat, but most people are able to learn to like it, especially when it is applied to a shoe as nice as this new Nike Air Max BW Gen II Black/Persian Violet. It has been spotted on a lot of different sneakers as of late but we think that this new version is on e of the best uses of the color that we have seen thus far.
The upper on these is predominantly black, but features about an equal amount of both white and Persian violet accents. The swoosh, ankle area as well as a section on the midsole will all come in Persian violet. These feature a visible air unit and everything really comes together stunningly on these sneakers. These ones are available now for preorder and will be available for purchase soon.

Nike Zoom Kobe V BlackForest GreenVarsity Maize
Nike has showed us the Nike Zoom Kobe V in several different colorways but the latest have acquired one of the most distinguished color setups. We have seen the LA Lakers-inspired colorway which drew us to a positive conclusion. This time, it wasn’t influenced by any other entity but it is Nike’s original taste that decided to come up with this tint.
Black as a common hue becomes the predominant that covers the toe, side panel, collar, tongue, inner liner, and midsole. The heel panel was draped with Varsity Maize and same color was used on the tongue logo, Swoosh border, and outsole. And lastly, Forest Green took an introductory spot on the Swoosh, side of toe, and lace panel.
Flywire design is present as well as Kobe’s signature on the heel. It also used a Zoom sole for additional cushioning and Black/Varsity Maize shoe laces.
Big Kobe V fans would want to avail for this exclusive release which will take place at Montalban Theatre on March 6, 2010 from 12:00PM to 6:00PM. Be there!

Nike Blazer High AC White/White/Black

Nike Blazer High AC WhiteWhiteBlack
The Blazer is one of those shoe from Nike that generally comes in a very subtle colorway or a very wild colorway. The former would be true for this new Nike Blazer High AC in a white on white with black colorway. The colorway is very simple but we think that once Spring rolls in that these would make a great option to stomp around in.
These shoes feature a predominantly white leather upper with very minimal black accents that come in the form of a line that separates the sole from the upper and on the Nike logo at the back of the heel tab as well as on the tongue tag. This shoe has already started to arrive in select retailers if you want to start making an effort to find it, otherwise you can wait a few weeks and it should be available in stores everywhere.

Air Jordan IX Powder Blue Retro

Air Jordan IX Powder Blue Retro
One of the rarest and most coveted Air Jordans out there is the Air Jordan 9 in the Powder Blue colorway. It is definitely one of their better colorways regardless of the rarity and a shoe that any Air Jordan fan should have on their want list. Luckily, those of you that either missed out the first time around or have since trashed the original pair can have the chance to get their hands on a retro version.
This new Air Jordan Retro 9 Powder Blue will come with a predominantly white leather upper and is accented very nicely by powder blue on the midsole, the heel and around the tongue. Black is also featured here to help give the shoe a nice balance of colors. According to our current reports these ones are expected to release sometime around the Summer of 2010 but exactly when is still unknown.
