Jordan 16.5 Aqua

Jordan 165 Aqua
With the Air Jordan 16 being far from a fan favorite in the entire Air Jordan lineup, it is no surprise that most fans didn’t get too excited over the announcement of the Air Jordan 16.5 hybrid back when it was first released. We think this may be the shoe that will be able to turn the naysayers into believers though, because almost any Air Jordan fan can’t get enough of that classic Aqua colorway. The shoe will come as predominantly black with a nice amount of black patent leather around the toe cap area. Aqua contrast stitching is featured all over the upper of the shoe as well and a purple inner lining rounds things out nicely as does a clear outsole. Overall these are slightly less bright in their “Aqua-ness” than some other shoes carrying the Aqua name, but we think that the colorway here was well implemented nonetheless.

Nike Air Flytop White/Black

Nike Air Flytop WhiteBlack
Since the initial release of the Nike Air Flytop, fans have either loved it or hated it. It has seen a wide variety of colorways, some very wild and colorful and others much more simple. This new Nike Air Flytop Black/White definitely falls into the latter category and if the simple colorways of the Flytop didn’t do it for you before, this won’t be the one to change your mind. On the other hand if you enjoyed all of those previous colorways this shoe will be exactly what you ar elooking for. This one will feature a predominantly white premium leather base with minimal black details on places like the swoosh, shoe laces and the heel tab. One interesting thing to note about the shoe is that it features a black suede tongue and suede on the heel tab as well. These sneakers are available for purchase now, so don’t hesitate.

Nike Air Max 90 Obsidian/White/Metallic Silver

Nike Air Max 90 ObsidianWhiteMetallic Silver
The Nike Air Max 90 has proven itself time and time again that it is the perfect shoe to use for color blocking. Actually to be quite honest the Air Max 90 is a shoe that is hard to do wrong, as often the shoe still looks excellent with mismatched or unexpected colors being thrown into the mix. This new Nike Air Max 90 Obsidian/White/Metallic Silver just goes for the more simple approach though and manages to do it very well. Some fans have said that this is a Yankees colorway, which doesn’t seem too far off from the truth although these shoes are not meant to be officially connected to the New York baseball team. Either way, whether you a Yankees fan or not it can’t be denied that these shoes possess a really excellent colorway that any sneaker fan can enjoy. These ones are now available for purchase.

Nike Air Royal Mid White/Army Green

Nike Air Royal Mid WhiteArmy Green
It may not be the most popular from Nike’s extensive lineup of sneakers, but the Nike Air Royal still definitely has its place in the market and we really like this new Nike Air Royal Mid White/Army Green due to its nice and simple colorway. The upper of this one is made up primarily of white premium leather combined with minimal dark army accents in places like the tongue as well as on the shoelaces. This minimal detailing is complimented as well by minimal contrasting stitching around the front of the sole. Other nice features that this shoe possesses include a white inner lining and a perforated swoosh that helps to add to the overall sleek feeling of the shoe. We have a feeling that this one would make a much better spring or summer sneaker, but you can always buy them now and wait a bit to actually bust them out.

Air Jordan VI Retro – Pistons

Air Jordan VI Retro Pistons
Detroit Pistons supporters should be proud of the next Air Jordan VI Retro as it is being dubbed as “Pistons” due to the fact that it uses the team’s colors to complete the upper as well as the sole. Brand Jordan combined the Home and Away color schemes to create one retro colorway. To break down the sneaker, it owns a Black patent leather and Black suede overlay. The tongue presents an embroidered Blue Jumpman logo while the upper portion features the Air Jordan label. Looking at the midsole in a 45 degrees angle, a wave of color assortment makes the contour faultless. It has a great mixture of Grey, Black-speckled Blue, Red, and White. The real twist comes from the outer sole where the blending of Varsity Red and true Blue Jumpman logo stands out from the clear sole. There is no word of the Air Jordan VI Retro release date yet but expect it to drop in the upcoming months.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Chirping Bird

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Chirping Bird
We have just received new images of the Nike SB Dunk Low Premium that has been dubbed the Chirping Bird. Upon looking at the characteristics of these shoes it may be a bit confusing at first as to why someone would call these shoes the Chirping Birds, but it is not actually because of their looks but instead because of their sound. These shoes have a module implanted into the puffy tongue that tweets when you press it. Seriously. We don’t know whether to call that a gimmick or just a cool feature that other sneaker companies have just never thought of. As far as the actually design of the shoe, they feature a dark denim type of upper that comes in a black, white and red colorway. They have already hit certain sneaker spots that are well connected and will make their full release very soon.

Nike Foamposite Pro Pearl

Nike Foamposite Pro Pearl
This is looking to be a great year for fans of the popular Foamposite series. Not too long ago information was leaked about the possibility of an Air Foamposite One Eggplant and now we are hearing that a Nike Foamposite Pro Pearl will be coming at as a reissue at some point in Fall of 2010. This one was released back in May of 2009 but unfortunately many people were not able to get their hands on a pair as it turned out to be a House of Hoops exclusive release. So far as we can tell, the 2010 release will be limited as well but not a House of Hoops exclusive and instead will hit select Nike urban accounts. The best we can tell you so far for a release date is Fall 2010 but you can bet that we will be following the information surrounding this shoe as it progresses.
