Nike Sportswear gives us a first glance at their Holiday 2009 Match Classic Pack. The pack features three different colorways such as brown, black, and red. All of which include a small Nike Swoosh on the side-panel, along with a suede upper and white outer sole. We are really feeling the black colorway. Overall a very simple and clean sneaker. Starting in 2007, Nike has re-released the Air Bakin‘ of 1997 in a myriad of colors with the most recent release being the Metallic Silver/Purple as a Maryland House of Hoops exclusive.
Most of these retros have possessed new colorways except for the Royal Blue/Black pair and the now available Black/Red pair. During their heyday, you could’ve seen the blue joints on the feet of Tim Hardaway or Mitch Richmond and this Black/Red version on The Worm, Dennis Rodman.
These retros are set for a retail price of 5 and are in stock at Extra Butter.

With as many Stefan Janoski Nikes we’ve seen in the last week or so, it’s getting harder and harder to keep up. But the good thing is that these obsidian blue SBs are actually available through select SB accounts.
They may not be as wild as the “Peacocks” we saw recently, but what they lack in color they make up for in class. The dark leather over the white vulcanized sole is as refined as it is simple. To complete the look, dark leather laces match the brown liner, the text on the tongue label and the stripe on the sole.
It may seem like we’re on a Janoski overload lately, but fans who have fallen for this simple Nike attest to its quality. How do you feel?

Nike releases another SB Zoom Stefan Janoski in Obsidian colorway. The upper is done in premium leather with fine White stitching on the toe area and an embroidered White Swoosh on the side panel. The midsole is made of White rubber with Brown pinstripe that matches the Brown leather laces and collar. This daily footwear is now available at Caliroots.
