Air Jordan VI x Nike Air Yeezy for Doernbecher Auction

Obviously, the Nike Air Yeezy was one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2009. Likewise, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red will be one of the highly anticipated releases of 2010. However, as a Doernbecher auction, Mark Smtih and his team withing the Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, has fused both models to form this one-of-a-kind sneaker. This unique shoe is available on eBay in a size 12.
This sneaker simply owns the Nike Air Yeezy base combined with the Air Jordan VI sole. The upper also features multiple textures on the upper including leather, suede and patent leather (strap). This pairing raises a lot of questions. Does the Air Yeezy look better with the Air Jordan VI sole or do you prefer the original way it looks? Should Nike start fusing more classic sneakers together? As stated earlier, you can place your bid on eBay now; however, expect to pay a heft price as the bid is now at 00!

Nike Blazer “Godzilla Pack”

Nike Blazer Godzilla Pack

One pair resembles the monster himself, boasting a scaly green base with dark green accents and a tan sole. The other pays tribute to Godzilla’s destruction, using a black upper with purple tear marks printed on. The swoosh is done with perforation, leaving the destruction as the focal point.
Is this pack set for classic status like the original movie, or more questionable than the 1998 remake?

Nike Zoom Kobe IV White/Grey-Purple

As part of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV Team lineup, we showed you the white/purple colorway that many of you could probably wear considering your school colors; however, we know some of you want to stand out from the rest of the pack. With that said, check out this new colorway of the Kobe IV.
Similar to the aforementioned colorway of the Kobe IV, this particular style also owns a predominately white/purple base, yet, it also possesses minimal grey accents as well. Specifically, the inner lining, tongue border and toe cap are all done up in grey. As an added feature, the latter area cover is translucent and sits atop a white/purple splatter design on the sole. This has to be one of the more sleeker and stylish color schemes on the Kobe IV yet to say the least. Click here to view additional photos.

DQM x Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache

DQM x Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache

Using a signature brown, tan and light-pink colorway, this Nike pays tribute to DQM’s namesake. For those of you unaware, the Current Huarache line of Air Max 90s uses a FREE forefoot in conjunction with the standard Air Max heel, as well as a few other small differences, like the Huarache heel strap. On the neoprene tongue, DQM makes it clear which coast they’re representing, just to clear up any confusion. These meaty Nikes are set to release October 1.
So does this bacon-inspired collaboration sit well with you, or leave you hungry for more?
